EXECUTTON OF SATES ,AGR,~EMENT FOR BURBANK SCHOOL SITE
WIiEREAS, the County of Butte is engaged in a comprehensive ef~'ort
to eliminate b~ight, upgrade r~e~.ghborhood conditions, and increase the supp].y
of' housing for low - and moderate~-income persons; and
WF~REAS, Oroville Elementary School District has agreed to sell
tha~ certain real property referred to as Assessor~s Parcel 35-I6-7-1g in
the E1 Medio neighborhood, and ~he county has expressed its interest in
purchasing said property; and
41IIEREAS, the county ~~,s received an appraisal from William H. P. Dolan
which expresses a fair market value of
for said reaJ. property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLU~D AS FOLLOWS:
1.. The Board of Supervisors hereby adopts the appraisal report
above mentioned and establishes just compensation at Si~y-six thousand eight
hundred forty-four pollaxs (~66,$/,1,.).
2. The Board hereby approves the Agreement of SaLe attached hereto
and authorizes the Chairnian o~ the Board to execute such Agreement on behal~
of the County of Butte.
3. The County Admznzstrative Officer is authorized to take such
ac-Eions as may be specified in the Sa7.es Agreement and otherwise consisten~
with that Agreement to effect pux~chase of the real property aforementioned.
