AND APPOTNTING THE COUNTY FIRE WARDEN TO BE THE
RESPONSIBLE DEPARTMENT HEA~
WHEREAS, the County of Batte is a cooperat3ve fire protection
agency, facilitating be~ter ~ire protection an adjacent and contiguous
lands to those protected by the Cali~ornia Department of ~orestry; and
WHEREAS, there is a need for materials and equipment to enhance
this afnrementioned cooperative fire prot~ction.
~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE~ that Robert E. Pau]us, county
fire warden, is hereby appointed and authorized to be the representative
of the County of Bu~te ~o inspect materia7s, or equipment, contract for,
execute documents ~or, and take delivery for receipt of materials or
equipment.
BE IT FURTH~R RESOLVED that Mr, Pauius sha11 execute these
functians for all equipment transmitted to Butte County by the California
Department of ~orestry, Butte Ranger District and shall remain so authorized
until the finat consumation or execation of a71 contracts, documents or
instruments required to transmit said equ9pment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this
6eh day of February__, 1979, by the following vote:
