PROGRAM APPLI~ATION
WI-IEREAS~ the California Youth Authority has been authorized by the
legislature to review applications for participation in the Coun~y Jus~ice
System Subvention Prograrit, and
WFIEREILS, the California Youth Authority requires assurances that the
state subvention will not take the place of county funds presently being
e~ended for the programs included in the funding reques~.
NOW, THEREFORE be i~ resolved by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte that all funding requests for the County~s application as
approved on September 11, 1g78, and as~amended on February 7.3, i97g, are for
new programs or,;for new programs mandated by Chapter 1071 of the Statutes of~_
Zg76 or for programs funded by federal manpower funds.
