Comrr~uni~y Aevelopmen~ Block Grant from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban
Aevelopment, amo~ the purposes of which are to eliminate blight and improve housing
conditions for low and mod.erate income families within the area generally known as
E1 Medio, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a recommendation from i-~s community
deve~.opment consultant that certain property be acquired, consis~ent with the goals
and objectives of the block grant program, for the purpose of effecting the removal
of residential blight, and
Wt~REAS, the Cavnty, following the uniform policies and requirements
es~ablished a_n the HUD Real Property Acquisition Handbook 1320.1, has made
appropriate e~forts to identify the best qualified appraisers in a non-diseriminatary
manner, whose services ma.ght be util3.zed in obtaini.ng competent appra~.sals.
NOWt ~~REFnRE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the ~oard of Supex~.sors of the County
of Butte as follows, to wit:
1. That the County shall enter in contract with William Ii. P. Dolan~ Jr.~
_.. for appraisal of property located at 21~.57 ~lgin Street, Oroville,
also identified as Butte County Assessors Parcel No. 35-16L~-2.
2. Sai.d appraisal to be performe8 for a fee not to exceed the sum
o~ ~zz5.oo.
3. That the County Admir~istrative Officer is authnrized to execute
said contraot for and on behalf of the County.
