Development~ among the purposes of which are ~o eliminate blight and improve housing
condi-~ions for lota- and moderate-income fam7.]~.es within ~he pm~ect area generally
kna~ as "Chapmantnwn"; and
~AS~ the Board has received a recnmmendat3.on from its Community Develop-
ment Consultant that certain real prope3rty be acqui_red~ consistent with the goals
and objectives of the block grant program, for the purpose o~ e~~eetir~ ~he removal
of residential blight; and
Wfi~S, the County~ follow.isFg the un:i.form po].a.cies and requa.remants
established in the HUA ~ieal Property Acquisi~ion Handbook 1320.~.~ has made appro~-
priate efforts to a.denta.fy the bes~ c~ualified appraisers in a nondisc~~+~natory
manner, whose services might be utilized in abtainin~ competent appraisals.

of Butte as follotas~ to wit:
1. That ~he Count~r o~' Butte sha11 enter into contract with Joseph E.
UdS.l.l.iams for appraisal services within the CB pro~ect area for the sum of $75~.00.
2. That the County Admini.strative Officer is authorized to execute such
contracts for and on behalf of the County.
