WHEREAS, the regulations governing the Community Deve3.opment Block Grant
Program require that a11 real property designated for aequisition by a local public
agency shall be appraised. by a qualified fee apgraiser, and
WHEI~EAS;, the above mentioned regu~.ations also require that such appraisals
be also reviewed by a c~ualified fee appraiser, anct
C~JH~AS, Robert A. Winston, Member of the Butte County Board of 5upervisora
is a qualifiefl professional fee appraiser who has performed appraisal services in
compliance with the requirements of the CBBG grogram, and thus is competent ~o
satisfy the requirements of the CDBG regulations,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved as follows:
1. Any appraisals of real property undertaken in connection with the
Commanity DeveloXsnent Blocic Grant program and which are reviewed by
Supervisor Winston~ shall be deemed to have received a review
appraisal in accordance with the requirements of the GDBG regulations.
2. A cop~r of this resolution together wi.~h a resume of Supervisor
Winston's qua7~.£ications, shall be filed in the County records of
each property subject to acqiaisition by ~lie County for. purposes of
the.CD$G program and which has been the sub~ect of review by
Supervisor G~i.nston. The intent o.f this action is to provide evidence
of comp7~.ance with CDfiG regulations in the event of any audit to be
contl~.cted regarding subject program.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 20th
