RESOL.UTION IN APPRECIATIOPI OF DOt•l KAYE
4dh1EREAS; Don Kaye has served s~rith outstanding dedication and
with distinction as Fire Chief for the City of Chico for the past tti~ro and
ane-half years; and
WliEREAS, Don Kaye has 18 years of previous service of fire
prevention experience having served as a fire fighter, fire inspector, fire
captain, patrol chief and fina~~y fire chief; and
WHEREAS, Don Kaye was named Fireman of the Year in 1968 and
Distinguished Fireman in ~972 by the Allstate Insurance Company.
NOW, 7HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV~D by tf~e Board of Supervisors of the
County of Sutte, State of CaZifarnia, as follows:
i. That this Board, on behalf of the peop7e of the County of Butte,
and on its own behalf, wishes to express ~ts most sincere «ppreciation far ,
the servi~es o~f Don Kaye;
2. That this Board wishes ~an Kaye success in his new pasitian of
Fire Chief in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho.
