AGING CONSISTING OF THE COUNTIES OF BUTTE,
TEHAMA, GLENN, COLUSA AND PLUMAS
WHEREAS, the 1978 Amendments of the Older Arnericans Act
require the California Department on Aging to establish Area
Agencies on Aging by 1980; and
WHEREAS, an Area Agency on Aging wi11 develop a system
of comprehensive and coordinated services for senior c~tizens in
a given area; and
WHEREAS; a service area composed of the counties of Butte,
Tehama, Glenn, Colusa and Plumas would be more able to offer the
most viable approach for developing a system of comprehenszve and
coordinated services, thus enabling the maintenance of qual~ty
programs and the ability to receive senior advisory input at Che
local level.
NO~d, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows::.
I. That an Area Agency on.. Agi~g consa.stzng of the
counties of Butte, Tehama, Glenn, Colusa and Plumas be established.
