HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-058RESO~UTIQN APPROVI~G PARAdISE JUSTTCE COURT LAW LIBRARY PROJECT WNEREAS the Paradise Justice Court desires to undertake a certain project designated Law Library to be funded in part from funds made available t~rough the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, PL 90-351, as amended, (hereinafter referred to as the Crime Control Act) administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning (hereinafter referred to as OCJP). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Judge of the Paradise Justice Court is authorized, on behalf of the County of Butte to submit the attached Appl~cation for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes ~o OC~P and is authorized to execu~e on behalf of the County of Butte the attached Grant Award for law enforcement purposes inciuding any extensions or amendments thereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County of Butte agrees to provide all matching fands required for said project (including any extens~o~ or amend~ent thereof) under the Crime Control Act and the rules and regutations of OCJP and the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration and that cash wi71 be appropriated as required thereby. BE IT FURTFIER RE50LVED that grant funds received hereunder sha71 not be used to supplant law enforcement expenditures controlled by this body.
