Cify of ~i~ico, the A~propriate Technology Associatian of Chico and tl~e ~aci~ic
Gas and E~ecf~ric Company; and
WHER~AS, fihe data presented afi said Con~erence indica~ed excelient
conservation ef~orts within the City of Davis, the City of Cl~ico, the Counfy af
g~tfe; and
WHEREAS, the canse~vafion efforis of the Cou~ty of But~e and f~he Cities
of Chico and ~roville have shaw-~ posit~ive results; and
WH~REAS, confiinued and expanded conservatio~+ efforts:shaufd be
p~rs~ed by al! leveis of governrr-ent ant# the private sector,
