OFFICER TO SUBMIT A FORNAL 0~'ER TO ACQUIR~ RF:A'f,
PROFERTY~AND EXECUTE PURCHASE A('.~tEEMENT - CAROL A. REED
WI-IER.EAS, The County of Butte is conducting a neighborhood improvement
program in the E1. NIedio communit~r, among the purposes of which are the elimina~ion
of blight and the stimulation of residentia.~ rehabilitation; and
WIiEP~AB~ the.County has determin~:fl that cer~ain parcels identified in the
aforesaid neighborhood may be braught into compl.ianee with County objectives only
through direct county acquisition and rehabil.itation of rea1. property; and
Wi-IEREAS, the Count~r has established just compensation based upon an appraisal
report from William H. P. Dolan, Jr., dated March 6, 1979, in'accordance with federal
and state reguJ_ations.
NOW, TI3fftEFORE, BE IT fiESOLVED by the County of Butte Board of Supervisors
that : '
1. The County Adanin5.strative Office is authorized to submit a Fortna7. Of£er to
Acquire Rea1 Fraperty described as Assessor's Parcel #35-"[6l~-02 and located
at 24.57 Elgin Street, Oroville, said property being owned by Carol A. Reed.
2. The Coun~y Adzninistra~ive Officer is authorized!to execute a purchase
agreemen~t for said proper~y on behal~' o~ the County o~' Butte~ in arz ainoun-~ not
to exceed ~~14,500 (Fourteen thousand - five hundxed Dollars).
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 24th day
of April , 1979, by the #'ollowing vote: '
