WHEREAS~ The Coun~y of But~e is cond,ucting a neighboxhood ~upx'wement
program. in the E7. Medio community, aznong the purposes of which ai•e the eliminxtion
of blight and the stimulation o~ residential rehabilitation; and',
WHER.EAS, the County has determined ~hat certain parcels identifieQ in the
a.foresaid neighborhood may be brought into compliance with County objectives only
through direct county acquisi~ion and rehabilitation of real proper~y; and
Wf3ER.EAS, the County has established just compensa-Eion based upon an appraisa.~
report from William H, P, ~olan, Jr., dated March 6, '1979, 3r~ accordance wi~h federal
and state regulations. '
NOW, TF~'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County o£ Bu~~e Board of Supervisors

1. The County Administrative Office is authorized ~o submit a Forn~.a,~ ~ffer to
Acquixe Rea7. Property described as Assessor's Parcel #35-"16/~-09 and located
at 25$0 k't. Wayne S~reet, Oroville, said property be~.ng owned by Rosario M. Blanco.
2. The Couz~ty Ad~tin:istra~ive O~facer i.s authora.zed to execute a purchase
agreement for said property on behal~' o~' the County of Butte, in an amoun~ not
to exceed $~'17, 500 ~SEVEl?t~ET! thousaz~.d. ~ fiue li~ndred Dollars) .
