consider a proposal for the establishment of County Serva.ce Areas ~'or street
Zights, the boundaries of t•rhich are hexeinafter described; and
WHEI~EAS, no proceedings for the estab7.i.skunent of such service areas
sha1Z be institul;ed by this Board ar requested by a.ts members until appraval of
the T,oca1 Agency Formation Comrnission is first obtained.

SUPERVISORS~ as follows: '
l. Application and a proposal is hereby made ~o ~he Loca]. Agen.cy Formation
Commission in accordance t~ri~h the ICnox~-Nesba.t Act, beginning wi~th Government Code
Section 54773, for establishment of County Service Area N~.unbers 60s blr and 62.
The exterior boundaries of the proposed Service Areas are described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference.
2. Estab7ishment o~' said Ser~rice Areas is pro~sed under County Service
Area Law (Chapter 2.2t Part 2, Division 2, 'IS.~tle 3 0£ the Governmen.L- Code beginnir~
with Section 25210.3.). T3ie type of extended serrrice proposed to be provided is
street lights. ',
3. The C3.erk of the Board zs authorized and directed to file a cer~Eified
copy of this resolu~ion taith the Executive Officer of the Butte County Loca7. Agency
Formation Commission. '
