Highway Patrol's helicopter fleet by adding two additional helicopters;

WHEREAS, the life saving potential of the availability of
the California Highway Parrol helicopters far offset the cost of the
California Highway Patrol's ownersh~p of the machines.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board
o~ Supervisors:
I. That this Board stron~ly en~orses Senate Sill 390 and
respectfu~~y requests the Legislature's favorab~e'consideration
thereof. ',
2. That a copy of this Resolu~ion be sent to the Honorable
Ray Johnson, State Senator, the Honorable ~ugene Chappie, Assemblyman,
and the Honorable Stan Statham, Assemblyman. '
