T ~~ S~ pursuan~ L-o Tit1e 3, Division 2, Par~ 2, Chapter 3 of the
Government Code at the State of Ca7ifornia, the Board by' its own notice has
zz~titaated proceedings for the establishment of a county service area; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission and Butte County has
approved the formation oi' a county service area for street'lights CSA #59•
I~HEREAS~ a portion of the proposed streetlighcing clistrict is in the
Ci-l:~ of Chico; and
WHEREAS~ the City of Chi.co by Resolution No. 1b0' 78--79 has concented
to ~he inclusion of part~ of the city in County Service Area #59•

l. A county service area is proposed to be established under the
terms of the aforesaid chapter in the ~znincorporated area of Butte County:
The boundary ]ine of the territories proposed for inclusion in the area are
in Exhibit A at~ached hereto and made a vart hereof by this reference.
2. The na~ne pro~osed for said coun~y 5ervice area is CSA #59
Park Vista Streetlight,s.
3. The type ot' e~tended ses~.ce to be prova.ded is streetligh~ir~.
l~. The Board intends ~0 1ev~r a serva.ce charge to pay for streetligh~s
in County Service Area ~#j9. Tkie service charge w.i.].1 be assessed in accordance
with Government Code Section 25210.77a and Bu~te County Code Section 21-$5
through 21-90. A public hearing on the report regarda.ng service charges will
be held concurrently wi~h the service area formation hearing.
5. ~~AS, on July 10, 1974 at IOc00 a.m. a public hearing yai11 be
held on the estab]~.s?~ment of said area.
