HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-092R.esoju{ion RESOLUTION NAMING PROJECT COORDIIVATOR RND PROViDItVG MATCFiI(~G FUNDS FOR PARENTAL STRESS PRflGRAM' WHEREAS, the Butte County Department of Social Welfare desires to undertake and continue a certain project designated Parental Stress Program in Butte County ~o be funded in part from funds made availab1e through the Omnibus Crime Control and Sa~Fe Streats Act of 1968, Pt 90-35i, as amended, (hereafter referred to as the Crime Control Act) administered by the Office of Criminal Justice P~ann~ng (hereafter referred to as OCJ~). NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, that the Director of the Butte County Department of Social Welfare is authorized, on its behalf'to submit the attached Application for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to OCJP and is authorized to execute on behaif of County of Butte the attached Grant Award for law enforcement purposes including any extensions or amendments hereof. BE IT FUR7HER RESOtVED that the applicant agrees to provide all matching funds required for said project (including any extens9on or amendarent thereof) ur~der the Crime Control Act ar~d the rules and regulations of OCJP and the l.aw Enforcement Assis~ance Admin9stratian and that funds wi1.1 be appropr~ated as required hereby.
