FOR DETERMINING PIIBLIC CONVEN~ENCE AND NECESSZTY

reso~ves:
This Bnard has adopted a map showing the bo~ndaries
of proposed C1.ark Road Ass~ss~nent District No. 2, which map is
entit~.ed, "Proposed Boundaries o~ CZark Road Assessment District
No. 2, County o~ Butte, ~tate o£ Ca~~~ornia."
That the Board af Supervisors proposes to zmplement
specia3. assessment proceedings under the provisions o~ the Municipa~
Impravement Act of Z9I3, ~ri~th bonds to be issued unde~ the provisa.ons
- ,
of ~he ~mprvvement Act nf 1911 for the purpose of the construction
of improvements.
That Tu~sday, the lOth day of July, 1979, a~ ~h~
hota.x~ of I1:15 A.M. o£ said day, ~.s ~ixed as the day and hour, and
the meeting plac~ of the Board of Sugervisors of the Coun~y o~
Butte, ~ocated in the Butte County Courthouse, 1859 Bird, O~ova.~le,
Cali,fornia, as th~ p~ace, when and where any and all persons interested
may appea~ and show cause why ~he Board shou~.d na~ find and d~termine
that the pub7.ic canvenience and necessity require the proposed improve-
mants ta be made in said proposed assessment district, without complz-
ance wa.th the provis~ons of th~ Special Assessmen~ Investigation,
Limi~atian and Majority Protest Act af~1931.
That th~ County C1erk is hereby di~ected ~o give notice

af the time and place of said hearing in the following manner:
By pub~ishing a Nvtice of Irnpravement, said publ~catxon
to be not less than tw~nty {2q) days prior to the date
of said hearing.
By posting a copy o~ the Not~ce of Improvement at or
nea~ the place of ineeting of th~ Board of Supezvisors
for ~ive (5) days prior to the time o~ said hearing.
By mailing a copy of the No~~ce of Improv~m~nt to each
prope~ty owner in said proposed assessrnent dis~rict,
said mailing to be sent not ~ESS than twenty ~20) days
prior to the date of the hearing.
By pasting a copy of the Notice of Improvement on a11
open streets within ~he propased assessment d~strict,
said natice to be posted not more than three hundred (300)
~eet apart, and not less than twenty (20) days prior ~0
the date o~ the hearing.
