RESOLUTION CALLING FDR CONSTRUCTION BIDS
CLARK ROAA ASSESSMENT DISTRICT N0. 2
The Board of Supervisors of the County of But~e
r~solves:
1. This Board of Supervisor~ has given preliminary
approval ~o ~he repor~ of the Engineer of Work fo~ improvements
in Clark Road Assessment District No. 2, County of Butte, State
of California. The report includes plans and specifications for
the constructian of improvements descr.ibed in ~h~ repart,
2. The County af Butte wi~~ receive sealed propasals
~or this constr~ction nat ~ater ~han 11;00 A.M. on June 2~, 1979,
in the of~ice of the Directar of Public Works, 7 County Ce~ter
Drive, Oroville, California. At tha~ ~xme and p~ace ~he sealed
proposals w~1~ be publicly opened, examined and declared.
3. The Board of S~pervisors~~eserves the power in i~s
discretion to zejec~ all praposals. The award of conStruCtion
contract, if mad~, 5haI1 be made to ~he Iowest responsib~e bi~~er
within the ~ime fixed in the specifica~ions {or any ex~.ension of
~ime agreed to by the County and thE lowest responsible bic7der).
4. The County Clerk is direc~ed to publzsh a notice
inviting sealed proposa~.s ~.n ~he PARADISE POST in accordance with
the Mun~c~pal ~mproveinent Act of 1913. The Engineer of Work arzd
the Project Engineer are authorized to give adda,tional no~ice and
to distribute additional in~ormation as necessary in the judgment
o~ the Engineer of Work and ~he Pro~ect Engineer to secure campeti-
tive bidding.
