HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-104WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2~ Part 2~ Chapter 3 0£ the
Government Code at the State of California~ the Board by its own notice has
initiated proceedings for the establishment of county service areas; and
WHEREAB, the Local Agency Formation Commission and Butte County has
approved the formation of county service areas for street lights C5A #(0, 61~
62, 63, 64, 65, and 66.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS I3EREBY RESOLVED that:
1. County service areas are proposed to be established under the terms
of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area of Butte County: The boundary
lines of the territories proposed for inclusion in the area are in Exhibit A
attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference.
2. The names proposed for said county service areas are CSA # 60
Lassenwood Subdivision Street~ights, CSA # 61 Shasta Park Subdivision Streetlights,
CSA # 62 Rancho De Thunder Unit # 1 Streetlights, CSA ~ 63 Ward Subdivision
S~reetlights, CSA # 64 Paradise Plaza Subdivision Streetlights, CSA # 65 Stoneson
Subdivision Unit # 1 Streetlights, and CSA # 66 Peach Tree P1ace Streetlights.
3. The type of extended service.to be provided is streetlighting.
4. The Board intends to levy a service charge ~o pay for streetlights
in each of these areas. The service charge will be assessed in accordance with
Government Code Section 25210.'77a and Butte County Code Section 21-85 through
21-90. A public hearing on the report regarding service charges wi11 be held
concurrently with the service area formation hearing.
5. WHEREAS, on July 1'7, 1979, at 10::.0:0 a.m. a public hearing will be
held on the estab7.ishment of sai.d area.
