RESOI,UTION ESTABLISHING COUNTY SER~ICE AREA
TO BE ENTITLED "COUNTY SER~ICE AREA N0. 62'~
(Government Code Sections 25210.1 et seq.}
WHEFiEAS, hexetofore, on the 1~th day oi June, ~g79, the Board of Supervisors
o£ the County of Butte, State of Cal.ifornia, adopted and passed a Resolution of Notice
of Intention to establish a county service area to be entitled "CCUNTY SERVICE AREA
N0. 62"; and ' '
WHEREAS, said resolution fixed the 17th day of July at 10:00 o'clock a.m.
of said day, in ~he Soard of Supervisors! Room of the Butte County Courthouse, zn the
City of Oroville, State of California, as the time and place for the public hearing
on ~he establishment of said area; and ''
WHEREAS, said Board, at said `time and place, proceeded to hear arguments
both for and against the establishment o~ said area; and
WHEREAS, no written protests against the establishment thereo£ were £iled
in acc~rdance with Section 25210.17 of the Government Code; and
. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Sutte, State of California, as follows:
1. That said Eoard hereby iinds and determines that proceedings herein were
conducted gursuant to Section 25210.`I et seq. of the Government Code, and that publi-
cation and notices were given pursuant thereto, and that said Board finds and determines
that the extent to which the services described in the resolution of intention are
extended county services. '
2. That saifl Board hereby~ determines to establish said county service area.
3. That the boundaries of said service are hereby final.ly determined and
established as the same as are shown on',Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference and made a part of .this resolution.
4. That the name of said service area so sstablished is "COUNTY SERUICE AREA
N0. 62 Rancho de Thunder Unit No. 1 Street Lighting District.E~
5. That the type of extended'county service to be provided within said area
is str~et lighting. '
6. That a service charge sufficient to pay for all such services wh~ch are
fvrnished on an extended basis shall be annually Levied upon each'parcel within said
area. The service charge will be assessed in accordance with Government Code Section
25210.~7a and Butte County Code Section 2%'=8S through 21-g0.
7. Tha~ said county service area is established for a11 purposes subject
only to compliance with the requirements of Chapter 8, Part 1, Division 2, ~it1e 5 of
the Government Code and subject to the provisions of Article 2.5, Chapter 2.2, Part~2,
-ivision 2, Title 3 of the Governme~n~ Code of the State of California.
