WI-~REAS, here~ofore, on the 12th day o2 June, 1979, the'Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, adopted and ~assed a Resolution of Notice
of Intention to establish a county service area to be entitled "COUNTY SERVICE AREA
N0. 63" ; and
WHEREAS, said resolu~ion £ixed the '17th day of July at 10:00 o'clock a.m.
of said day,,in the Board o~' Supervisors! Room of the Eutte County Courthouse, in the
City of Oroville, State of California, as the time and place for the public hearing
on the establishment of said area; and
Wi-~REAS , said Board, at said time and p7.ace, proceeded'to hear arguments
both for and against the establishment of said area; and
WHEREAS, no writ~en protests agaznst the establishment thereof were filed
in accordance wi~h Sec~ion 2~210.17 of the Government Code; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. -That said Board hereby finds and determines that proceedings herein were
conducted pursuant to Section 25210.1 et seq. of the Government Code, and that publi-
cation and no~ices were given pursuant thereto, and that said Board finds and determines
that the extent to which the servi.ces described in the resolution of intention are
extended county services.
2. That said Board hereby determines to establish said county service area.
3. That the boundaries of said service are hereby finally determined and
established as the same as are shown on Exhibit A, attached here~:o and incorporated
herein by reference and made a par~ of this resolutzon.
4, That the name of said service area so established i5 "COUN`.~Y SERVICE AREA
N0. 63 Ward Subdivision Street Zighting District.~~
5. That the type of extended county service to be provided within said area
is street lighting. .

(Government Code Sections 25210.1 e~ seq.}
6. That a service charge su~ficient to pay for a~l such services which are
furnished on an extended basis shall be annually levied upon each parcel within said
area. The service charge will be assessed in accordance wi~h Government Code Section
25210.77a and Butte County Code Section 21-85 through Z1-9Q.
~. That said county service'area is established for al~ puxposes subject
only to compliance with the requirements of Chapter 8, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of
the Government Code and subject to the'provisions of Article 2.5~ Chapter 2,2, Part 2,
Division 2, Tit1e 3 of the Government Code of the State oi California.
