RESOL15~ION ~S~'ABLISHING COUNTY SERVICE AREA
TO BE ENTITLED "COUI3TY SERVZCE AREA N0. 64"
(Government Code Sections 25210.1 et seq.) '
WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 12th day of June, ~9~9, the Board of Svpervisors
of the County oi Butte, State of Cali£ornia, adopted and passed a Resolution of I~Ioti.ce
o~ TntexLtion to estabZish a county service area to be entitled "COUNTY SERVICE AREA
No. 64"; ana
WHEREAS, said resolution fixed the 'E'7th day of July at'10:00 o~clock a.m.
of said day, in the Board of Superva.sors' Room o~ the Butte County Courthouse, in ~he
City of.Oroville, State of Cali~ornia, as the time and place for the public hearing
on the establishment of said area; an.d '
WHEREAS:; said Board, at said time and place, proceeded to hear argumen~s
both for and against the estab~,is.hment of said. area; and
WHEREELS, no written protests against the~establishraent thereof were filed
in accordance with Section 25210.17 of the Government Code; a.ud
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of Califoxnia, as fo].lows:
1. That said Board hereby finds and,determines that proceedings herein vrere
conducted pursuant to Section 252'I0.'i et seq: of the Government Code, and that publi=
cation and noti.ces were given pursuant ~hereto, and that said Board finds and determines
that the extent to which the services described in the resolution of intention are
extended county serva.ces. '
2, That said Soard hereby d~~ermines to establish said county.service area.
3. That the boundaries of said service are hereby ~ina7.ly determined and
established as the same as are shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated
herein by refierence and made a part of this resolution.
4. That ~he name ofi' said service area so established is '~COUNTY SERVICE AREA
N0. 64 Paradise Plaza Street Lighting Ais~r.ict."
5. That the type of extended county service to be provided. wi~hin said area
is street lighting.
6. That a service charge sufficient to pay for all such services which are
fnrnished;'on an extended basis sha1.~ be annually levied upon each parcel within said
area. The service charge will be assessed in accordance with Government Code Section
25210.~7a and Butte County Code Section 21-85 through 21-90.
7. That said county service area is established for all purposes subject
only to compliance wi~h the requirements of Chapter 8, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of
the Government Code and subject to the provisions of Article 2.5, Chapter 2.2, Part 2,
Division 2, Title 3 of the Government Code of the 5tate oi California.

State of California, this 17th day of Ju~y, 1979, by ~he following vote;
