RESOLUTION ESTABI,~SHTNG COUNTY SERVICE AREA'
TO BE ~NTITLED '~COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 65"'
(Government Code Sections 25290.'! et seq.) '
Wf~REAB, heretofore, on the 12th day of June, ~g79, the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, adopted and passed a Resolution of Notice
o£ Intention to establish a county service area to be entitled ''COUNTY SERVICE AREA
No. 65~~; and ',
WHEREAS, said resolution fixed the 17th day of July at 10:00 o'clock a.m.
of said day, in the Board of Supervisors' Room of ~he Bu~te County Courthouse, in the
City of Oroville, State of California, as the time and place for the public hearing
on the establishment of said area; and '
WFIEREAS, said Board, at said time and place, proceeded to hear arguments
both for and against the establishment of said area; and
WHEREAS, no written protests against the establishmen~ tk~ereof were fiJ.ed
in accordance with Section 25210.17 of the Government Code; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R~SOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte~ State of California, as follows:
1. That said Board hereby iinds and determines that proceedings herein were
conducted pursuant to Section 252'10.1 et seq. of the Government'Code, and that publ.i-
cation and notices were given pursuant thereto, and that sai~ Board finds and de~ermines
that the extent to wnich the services described in the resolution of intention are
extended county services.
Z. That said Board hereby determines to establish said county service area.
3. That the boundaries of said service are hereby finally determined and
e~tablished as the same as are shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated
herein. by .ceference and made a part of this resolvtion.
4. That the name of said service area so established is "COUNTY SERVICE AREA
N0. 65 Stoneson Unit No. 1 Btreet Lighting District.'{
5. That the type of extended county service to be provided within said area
is street ligh~ing. '
6. That a service charge sufficient to pay for all such services which are
furnished on an extended basis sha11 be annually levied upon each parcel within said
area. The service charge wi11 be assessed ~n accordance with Government Code Section
25210.~7a and Butte Coun~y Code Sectzon 21-85 through 2~-90.
7. That said coun~y service area is established for a~l purposes subjec~
only to compliance with the requirements of Chapter 8, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of
the ~overnment Code and subpect to the provisions of Article 2.5, Chapter 2.2, Part 2,
Division 2, Title 3 of the Government Code of the State of California.
