RESOLUTION ACCEPT~NG i~ETTTION
R.ANCHQ DE THUNDER ASSESSMENT DrSTRTCT
The Baaxd o~ Superv~.sors of ~h~ County o~ Butte resolves:
Cer~ain owners of real prQperty have ~iled witk~ the Cl~rk
af this body a peti~ion, signed by them, requesting the public imprave-
ments c~escribed in the pe~ition, the cost to be specially assessed
against land benefiting from ~he improvements. The petition contains
an express waiver o~ statutory proceedings under the Spec~al Assess-
ment Investigation, Limi~a~ion and Majori~y Pro~est Act of 193I,
as provided in Section 2804 0~ the Stre~ts and Highways Code.
The Board finds ~hat al.l of the owners ot more than s~xty
percen~ {60$) in area o£ the ~and subjec~. to assessment for the
proposed imp~ovements have signed the petit~nn.
Acco~'ding~y, the Baard accepts ~he peti~ion and da.r~cts that
spec~aZ assessment praceedings sha13. be undertaken by the terms af
the p~titian and wi~thout ~urth~~ compl~ance wi-~h ~he Sp~cial Assess-
ment Investigation, Limitation and Ma~o~~ty Protest Act of 1931. Tha.s
action is finaZ within the meaning of Secfiion 3012 of the Streets and
Hzghways Code.
