RESOLUTION HONORII~~ LOYD R. BIP.A
Wii~REAS, Loyd R. Bird has been the Superintendent of the
Croville Rescue Mission for the past fourteen years; and
G7'dEREAS, this Board wishes to reeognize the Iong and devoted
p2~blic service Mr. Bird has given to the citizens of the County of
Butte; and
LJEIEREAS, this Board also wishes ro espress irs deep
appreciation for the constant and nevex-en.da.ng concern az~d k~indness
with which N1r. Bix~d has shown to everyone he has come ~.nto contact
wi~th; and
WH~REAS, the efforts of Mr. Bird have significantly
benefi~ed the people of the County of B~.tte.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Bu~te County Board
of Supervisors:
1. That ~his Baard, on be'rcalf of the peopZe of ~he Caunty
of Butte, and on its own behalf, wishes to express its most sincere
appreciation for the services of Mr. Bird and wishes to take this
opportunity to join the entire community in honoring him upon his
retirement.
