(GOVERNMEN`~ CODE SECTION 29320 ET SEQ)
WHEREAS~ the Boaxd o£ Supervisors of the Cow~.ty of Butte has
determined that for the ef£ica.ent operation of the Office of Agricult~zral.
Commissioner, Division of Weights and Measures as required under Business
and Professions Code, Sections 12001 et seq~ the necessity has arisen for
the establishment of a Revolving Fund.
Wf~}i,RFiI4R z the ~aovernmen~ Code o~ the State of Cali.fornia, Sec~ions
29320 e~ seq provide for the establishmen~ of such £unds.
NOW, TI~REE'ORE, BE IT ItESOLVED BX ~ BOARD OF SIIPERVISORS of the
County of B~ztte, State of California, as follows:
l. That there is determined to be a necessity ~or the establish-
ment of a revolving fund in the Office of Agra.cuJ.tusal Commissioner for
~he purpose o~ complying with the Business and Professions Code Sections
12001 e~ seq (Weights and Measures).
2. That the amount of the revolving ~und sha11 be ~he sum of
Three Hundred Do1.l.ars ($300.00).
3. That this fund is established in accordance wi~h Sections
293~0 e-t seq o£ the Government Code of the State o~ California~.and ~ha~t
certified copies of the resolution shall be transmi~~ed to the Couz~ty
Audi~or and the County ~reasurer.
4. That the Coun.ty Administrator is instructed pu.rsuant to
Section 2g323 0£ the Government Code of the Sta~e of Cal.ifornia, to amend
by endorsement ~Tne bJ.anket fidelity bond of the county to be condi-~ioned~
in addition to its other provisions, upon the faithful administration o~
the revoZving fun.d and upon the wi~7.ingness and ability of the princi.pal
£or whom such a fuz~d has been establ.ished to account for and pay over the
fund upon`demand of the Board o~ Supervisors at any time.
5. The Audi-~or o~.the County of Butte is hereby authorized azid
directed to draw a warrant a.n ~the sum o~ Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00)
in £avor of the Agric~ltural Comm~.ssioner's Office of •~x:e Coun~y of Butte
from the County General Fun.d,
6. The Agricultural Coramissioner sha11 from time to time request
the Board of Supervisors to replenish the fund, for authorized expenditures,
from the then current budget of the Agricultural }]epartment, in which. such
e~endi~ures have been budgeted.
