' WHEREAS, tne Governing Board of_-rainage District ~~100 has passed a resolution calling ~or an election for the purpose of electing membexs of the Governing Board for the next term, said election to be he~d on Novembe~ 6, 1979; and WH~~AS, the Governing Board of Drainage District ~~200 has passed a resolution calling £or an election for the purpose of elec~ing members of rhe Governing Boaxd for the ne~t tezm, said election to be held on November 6, 1979; and WHEREAS, the Governing Board of the Lime Saddle Commun~ty Service.Area District has passed a resolution calling for an election for the purpose of electing members of the Governing Board for the next term, said election to be held on November 6, 1979; and 47HEREAS, the Governing Board of the Paradise Municipal Advisory Council has passed a resolution calling for an elect~on for the purpose of electing membe~s of the Governing Board for rhe next ~erm, said election to be held on November 6, I979; and WHEREAS, ~he Board of Supe~visors has passed a resolutiion calling for an eiection foz the purpose o~ submitting to the residents of the Paradise Fire Protection Dzstzict the question of whether a reorganizaCion shou~d take place resulting in the dis- solution of the Paradise Fire Pro~ecrion Distric~, Coun~q Service Area Nos. I3, 38, 49, 64 and 65, and the incorporation of the Town of Paradise, said election to be held on November 6, I979; and WHEltEAS, the Chieo City Council has passed a reso~ution calling for an election for the purpose of putting the City of Chico Housing Measure on the ballot, said election to be held on November 6, 1979; and WHEREAS, each of the aforesaid Governing Boards have requested the Soard o~ Supervisors o~ the County of Sutte to order the consolidation of each of the a~oresaid elections with the State General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 1979. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 4RDERED AND RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors ot the County of Butte, State of Californa.a, as fol~ows: 1. That the aforesaid elections called by the aforesaid Governing Boards for November 6, 1979, and by the Board o£ Supervisors, shall be and the same are hereby consolidated with the State General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 1979. 5. 2. That in the areas affected by ~his consolidat~on order the election should be held in all respects as though there was only one election and the County Clerk of Bu~te County ~s hereby ordered and directed to provide accordingly wi~hin the territory affected by said consolidation, the election precinc~s, polling places and vo~ing booths for each of said elections hereby consoli- dated and to provide for only one ser of elec~ion officers in each of the precincts affected by this consolidation order. 3. That the Co~n.ty Clerk is fur~her ordered and directed to set torth in each form of ballo~ and sample ba~Zot, to be used in said consolidated elections, insofar as applicable, the ballot measure £or said Governing Board members, recalling Gove~n.zng Board members, the Paradise Incorpora~ion ~easure and E~ection of City Council Candidates, and the Ci~y of Chico Eiouszng Ileasure, to mail to the qualified electors of tne respective d~stricts and the appropriate sample ballots and polling place cards signed by said County Clerk relating to said election and to provide absent voter ballots for said elections and said Stare General Election consolzdated therewith for the use by qualified electors of the respective distxicts who may be entitled thereto as provided by law. 4. That the County Clerk shall canvass or cause ~o be canvassed the return of said district elec~ians and sha~~ certify said canvass of the votes cast to the respec~ive Governing Boards. 5. That the County Clerk is fur~her authorized to charge to the respective districts the expense of the elec~ion or elections attributable to said districts.
