RESOLUT~ON GIVING NOTICE OF H~ARING ON PETITION
T0 AB9NDON A PUB~IC HIGHWAY
WHEREAS, this Board nas received a petition from Gary Moore
and others requesting the abandonment of a~ublic highway (to wit,
a portion of 14th Street - Thermalito) as descxibed below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Streets and Highwaps Code §958 this
Board shali set a date tor a hearing on the pe~i~ion for abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this ~oard:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular
meeting on S~tember 7.8 , 1979, at 7.0:15 a•~• , in the Board
Chambers, Butte County Administration. ~uilding, Qroville, California,
a hearing shall be held on the abandonment of the following described
public high.way:
All that portion of 14Ch Street lying west o~ Lot 6,
Block 93, of the Map of Thermalito as recorded
June 8, 1587 on Wall Map No. 6 in the County of Butte,
State of CaJ.ifornia, more particularly described as
follows:
Seginna.ng aC ~tte southwest corner o£ Lot 6, Block 93
of said subdivision; thence north along the west line
of said Lot 6, 355 feet to the northwest corner of
said Lot 6, thence t~rest 80 feet; thence south 80 feet
distanC from and parallel with the west line of Lot b,
355 feet to a poin~ on the north line ot Tehama Avenue;
thence east 80 feet along the north line of Tehema
Avenue to the point of beginning.
Containi.ng 0.326 acre.
2. That this Reeol.ution be posted and published pursuant
to the provisa.ons of Streetis and Highways Code §958.
