RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY OF BU'i'~'E APPROVING
BUTTE COUN'.C'X POLZCE ATHLE~E~TIC L~AGTJE PRO~IECT
4JI-~tEAS, The County o£ Butte desires to undertake a certain
project designated the Butte County Police Athletic Zeague to be
funded in part from the funds made available tharough the Juvenile
Justice and Delinquency Preventzon Act of 1974, ~L 93-~3.~, as amende&,
(hereinafter re£erred to as the Juvenile Justice Act) administered by
the Office of Criminal Justice P1.anning (hereinafter referred to as
OC~TP ) .
NOW, THEREF'ORE, BE IT RESOLVEA that the County Sheriff of
the Coun~y n£ Butte is authorized, on its behalf, to submat the
attached application for $rant for Zaw enforcement p~rposes to OC3P
and is authorized to execute on behalf of the Cownty of Butte the
attached grant award for law enforcement purposes a.nc].udzng any
extensions or amendments thereof.
BE I~ FU~2THER RESOZVED that grant funds reeeived hereunder
shall not be used to supplant law eriforcemen~ expenditures controlled by
this Board.
