RESOLUTION ABAN3}OIVING A PUBLIC HIG~IWAY
This matter came on. xegular~y ~or hearing be~ore ~he
Board of Supervisors of tize Coun.ty o~ Butte, ~tate of California,
on September 18 , 1~979, ~,n the Board Chambers, Bu.~te Co-unty~
Administration Building, Orova.l].e, Ca~.i~az~a.ia, and it appearing to
said Board that a Notice of Time and Place of Hearing of said
Abandonment was duly and regularly given. as required by law, and
testimony and :evidence, both oral and documentar~, havin:g;..been
produced at said hearing, from whzch said Board now finds ~hat the
hereinafter described Publzc Highway {to wit, Flumas Avenue at 16th
Street) is tiu~necessary fox present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREk'ORE, ZT IS I-IEREBY ORDERED as follow:
l. '~hat the public lnighway situated in the County o~
Butte, ,State of Ca~.~.~'orx~ia, as hereinafter more particularly
described, is hereby abandoned.
2. That the description of said public highway so
abandon.ed a~s situated in the County of Butte, State of Californ.ia
and m.ore particuZarly described as fallows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of I,ot 57 of
Falm Crest Village, being a su.bdivision of BLock
lp9 of Thermalito as shown on that certain map
recorded in Map Book 1'7 at Page 30, Butte Cour~.ty
Official Records; ~hence north along the n.ortherl~
prolongation of the west line of said Lot 57, 10.00
feet; thence east parallel with the cex~.terlin.e of
Plumas Avenue, 41~0.00 feet; thence S 45°00"00"E,
28.28 ~ee-t to the west line of Sixteen~h Street;
thence south 30.00 feet ~o a point o~' cusp; thence
northwesterly along the arc o~ a 40.00-foot ~adius
cu.rve concave to the southwest through a central
angle o~ 90°00'00" a distan.ce of 62.83 ~eet; thence
wes~ alang the south line of Plumas l~.venue 420.00
~'eet to ~he TRUE POZNT OF BEGINNZNG.
3. That the C~erk of this Board sha11 cause a certified
copy of this Resolution, with the seaJ. o~ the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, to be recorded in the
o~'fice o~ the Recorde~ of ~he County o~ Butte, State of Ca1i~'o~ia.
