(~o wit, a portion of 5tirling City Dump Access Road) as described
below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Streets and Highways Code §956.8
this Board shall set a date for a hearing on the petition for
abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Soard:
1. That this Board herebq gives notice that at its regular
meeting on October 30 , 1979, at 10:30 a,~, ~~n ~~e
Board. Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville,
California, a teearing shall be held on the abandonment of ~Che following
described public h.a~ghway:
A portion of the south haZf of Section 28, T24N, R4E,
NIDB&M, more particularly described as follows:
A strip of land 40.00 feet wide lying 20.00 feet on
each side of the fol~.o~aing-described line: Beginning
at the intersection of the centerline of Quartz Street
with the center~ine of Manzanita Street as shown on
the map of Stizl~.ng City, filed in the o~fice of the
recorder of ~he County of Sutte, State of Cali~ornia,
August 3, I903, in Map Book 4, Page 33; thence (1) S
74°04'40" W along the centerline of Quartz Street
and its extension 457.I1 feet (2) thence I3 72°43'20"
