RESOLUTIOIV ABANDONZNG A PUBLIC HIGHWAY
This matter came on regularly for hearing before the
Board of Supervisors of the County o~ Butte, State of Calitornia,
o~ September25 , 1979, in the Board Chambers, Butte County
Administration Building, Oroville, California, and it appearing to
said Board that a Notice of Time and Place of Hearing of said
Abandonment was duly and regularly given as required by law, and
testimony and evidence, both oral and documentary, having been
produced at said hearing, from which said Board now finds that the
hereinafter described Public Highway (to wit, a portion of 14th
Street - Thermalito) is unnecessary for present or prospective
public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HERESY ORDERED as follows:
1. That the public highway situated in the County of
Butte, State ot California, as hereinafter more particul.arly
described is hereby abandoned.
2. That the description of sai.d public highway so
abandoned is situated in the County of Butte, State of California,
and more particularly described as follows:
All that portion of 14th Street lying west of Lot 6,
Slock 93, of the Map of Thermalito as ~^ecorded
' . June 8, 18$7 on Wall Map No. 6 in the County of Bv.tte,
State of California, more particularly described as
follows:
Beginni.ng at the southwest corner of Lot 6, B1ock 93
of said subdivi.sion; thence r-orth along the west line
of said T~ot 6, 355 feet to the northwest corner of
said Lot 6, thence west 80 feet; thence south 80 feet
, dis~anr from and parallel with the west line o~ Lot 6, a„ ,
' 355 feet to a point on the north line of Tehema Avenue; ~:
thence east 80 feet along the north line of Tehema ~
