WHEREAS, this Soard has receive8 a petition from Jim
Rickards and others requesting the abandonmen~ of a public utilitq
easement as described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code §§50440, et se .,
this Board sha11 set a date for a hearing on the petition for
abandonment.
NOW, TH~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of S.upervisors:
I. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its
regular meeting on November 6 , 1979, at lo:oo a.m., in
the Board Chambers, $utte County Administration Building, Oroville,
California, a hearing shaZl be held on the abandonment of the
folloming described easement:
A porrion ot Lot 7 of Section 1, T22N, R3E, also
being those certain public utility easements as
shown between Lots 12 and 13 also Lots 13 and 14
on the Map of Eden Pines Subdivision recorded in
Book 38 at Pages 57 through 59, County of Butte,
State of Califomia, more particularly described
as foliows:
Parcel A
That certain six-foot publi~ utility easement lying
three feeC on each side of the following-described
line:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of Lo~ 12;
thence S 75°45'32" E, 194.87 feet, excepting
therefrom that portion lying parallel with and 10
feet dis~ant from the westerly right-of-way line o£
Gate Lane.
Parcel B
That certain six-foot public uti~ity easement lying
three feet on each side of the followzng-described
line:
Beginning ar the most westerly corner of Lot 13;
thence S 76°46'25" E, 200.67 feet, excepting
therefrom tihat portion lying para~lel with and 10
feet distant from the westerly right-of-way line
of Gate Lane.
2. That this ResoLution be posted and',published pursuant
to the provisions of Government Code §§50~40 and 50441.

this 2nd day of october , 1979, by the following vote:
