RESOLTJTION ABANDONING A PUSLIC HIGHWAY
This matter came on regularly for hearing before the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of CaZifornia,
on October30 , 1979, in the Board Chambers, Butte County
Administration Building, Qxoville, California, and it appearing to
said Board that a Notice of '~iz~.e and Place of Hearing of said
Abandonment was duly and regul~rl.y given as required by law, and
testimony and evidence, both oral and documentary, having been
produced at said hearing, from which said ~oard now finds that the
hereinatter described Publzc Highway (to w~.t, a portion of Stirizng
City Dump Access Road) is unnecessary for present or prospective use.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORD~RED as follows:
1. That the public highway situated in the County of Butte,
State o~ California, as hereinafter more particularly described, is
hereby abandoned.
2. That the description of said public highway so abandoned
is situated in the County of Butte, State of Califoz-z~.ia, and more
par~icular7.y described as follows:
.A portion of the south half of Secrion 28, T24N, R4~,
MDS&M, more particularly described as follows:
A strip of land 40.OQ feet wide lying 20.00 feet on
each side ot the following-described 1ine: Beginning
at the intersection of the centerline of Quartz Street
with the centerline of Manzanita Street as shown on
the map o~ Stirling City, ~iled in the office of the
recorder of the Count~ of Sutte, State of California,
August 3, 1903, in Map Book 4, Page 33; thence (I) S
