NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESO~VED that the Ghief Probation Of~icer of the Probation Department is authorized, on its behalf, to submit the attached Applica~ion for Grant ~or Law Enforcement Purposes to OC.7P and is authorized to execute on behalf of Butte County the attached Grant Award for law enforcement purposes. All in~ormation regard~ng background is now contained ~n an antiquated, cumbersome card a.nd fi~e system that can cause error, as we~~ as de~ay. Recen~ programs have been es~ablished on an even~ng, weekend and ho~iday basis.
