FEDER4L AND STATE GRANTS FOR PUSLICLY OWNED
WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS AND PROVIDING CERTAIN
ASSURANCES
BE IT RESOLVED by the Bosrd of Supexvisors, County of Butte,
State of California that ehe Director of Environmental Heal.th is E~ereby
authorized and directed to sign and file, for and on behalf of the County
of Butte, an Application for Federal Assistance under the Federal Water
kolution Control Act, as amended (33 U.SoC, 1251 et, seq.) and any agreements
or other dacuments necessary to secure and receive a grant under sa3d act and
a state grant under the Clean Water Bond Law of 1970 and/or 7.974 for coztstruction
of waseewater treatment woxks.
B~ IT RESOLVEb that the County of Butte hereby agrees and further
does authorize the aforementioned representati4e to certify that if grants
for its pro3ecti are made pursuant to tihe aforemenCioned federal and s~ate
statutes, it wfll comply with aIl app3.icable state and federal statuatory
and regulatory requirements, inc7.uding but not limited to the Assurances
contained in the Federal Grant App7.ication and the 5tate Grant Contract, The
~reedom of xnformation Act, 5 U.S,C, 522 as amended relating to the right of
the public to obtain i.n~ormation and records, The National Histoxic Pxeservation
Act of 1966, U,S.C. 470 et seq., as amended, relating to the preservation of
historic landmarks, '~he Cope7.and (Anti-Ki.ckback) Act, 18 U,S,C. 874, 40 iF.S,C.
276C and the regulations issued thereunder, 29 CFR 3.1 et seq., and The Contract
Work Hours and Sa£ety Standards Act, 40 U.S.C, 327 et seq,, and the regulations
issued thereunder.
