FUNDS PURSUANT TO REVE~tUE Al`dD TAXATION CODE b98.$
WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed the finazzcial situation
facing both the E1 T~Iedio Fire ProtecCion DisCrict and the Paradise
Fire Protection District and have deCermined that if additional funds
are not made avail.able to them, the fire protection services in these
district wi11 be irreparably damaged and that the health, safety and
wel~are of the people residing in these districts wi11 be adversel.y
affected.
TdOW, TIiEREi'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this ~oard hereby grants
and distributes to the E1 Medio Fire Protection District the amount ofi
$35,000, and that this Board hereby grants and distributes to the
Paradise Fire Protection District the amount of ~5242,843, which funds
are determined to be available County sources as provid.ed in Revenue
and Taxation Code §98.8 and further directs the Auditor to make sa~.d
funds available upon demand to said districts and further trans~ers
the funds from the °Unaliocated Revenue Sliaring ,A.ppropriation" (page
41, Iin.e item 34 0£ the 1979/80 Sutte County Budget).
