HomeMy WebLinkAbout793ORDINANCE N0. 793 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 1.7 18 19. 20' 21 22. 23 24 23 26' 2'7 28 29 30 37. 3$' AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OI' BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AP•~NDING COUNTY ORDINANCE #571• The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, does ordain as follows: That Butte County 6rdinance X571 is hereby amended in the following particular: Section 3 of said Ordinance is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 3. Additional uses permitted subject to .the securing of a use permit in each case. 3.1 In addition to the foregoing permitted uses, and solely and only within that portion of the herein above described zoned area lying west of the overpass at Canyon Highland Drive on the Feather River Highway to the Oroville City Limits, and that portion of the road known as the Oroville Dam Boulevard, "H-C" (Hi.ghway Commercial) District shall be established. Said Highway Commercial uses shall be cz~nfined only to, property having frontage an the Feather River Highway and the Oroville Dam Boulevard, to a depth of three hundred (300) feet on each side of said roads. Said Highway Commercial District is for retail stores and shops of Light Commercial character and conducted within a budding including Appliance Stores, Banks, Barber Shaps, Beauty Parlors, Book Stores, Food Stores, Furniture Stores, Millinery Shops, Professional Offices, Shoe Shops, Storage Garages, Studios and Trailer Shops, and Public Utility Commercial Offices, subject to hereinabove described restrictions. 3.2 R-3 (Multiple DFiellings) Uses shall be permitted for Assessor Parcel X33-11-20 and 23, as designated by map in the office of the County Assessor the first Monday in March, 1g63. The foregoing amendment to Ordinance No. S71 shall take effect thirty (30) days after the passage of the same, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after such passage, the foregoing amendment shall be published with the names of the members voting for and against the same at least once ian, the Oroville Mercury , a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California. PASSED and ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Buttb, State of California, on the 23rd day of December , 1963 ~ by the following vote; AYES: Supervisors Giles, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Steinegger NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor Alldredge NOT VOTING: None Emil G.
