A.N ORDINANCE AP9ENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 589

OLIVE HTGI~~VAY, EAST OF OROVILLE

3 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Cali-
fornia, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
4 That Butte County Ordinance Nos. 589 and 653 are hereby amended
6 in the following respects and particulars:
g SECTION 3. In addition to the uses permitted and authorized
under Section 2, and solely within those portions of the district
7 hereinafter specified, "I-i-C" (Highway Commercial) uses may be
permitted subject to the issuance of a use permit in each case
$ (Highway Commercial uses being identical with "C-1" or Retail
9 Light Commercial uses, as described in Ordinance No. 522); Section 3
is amended by adding sub-section "f".
10 a. Land fronting on U.S. Highway 40A (Feather River Highway),
Said commercial area shall be developed to proper grade
11 to existing road and the depth shall not exceed 350 feet
on each side of the center line of said highway.

b. Land fronting on the Olive I-highway from the Oraville City
13 Limits to the Oroville-Quincy Road. Said commercial area
I4 shall be developed to proper grade to existing road and
the depth shall not exceed 350 feet on each side of the
15 center line of said highwe,.ys.
16 c. Land within a xada.us of 500 feet from the intersection of
Foothzll Boulevard and Mt. Ida Road; and a radius of 500
17 feet from the intersection of Mt. Ida Road and the
Oroville-oangor Highway.

19 d. Land vritlZin, a radius of 500 feet from the intersection of
the Lower C~Tyandotte Road and the Oroville-Bangor T-Hghway.

e. Land within a radius of five hundred (500) feet from
21 the intersection of the Lower Wyandotte Road and the
Oroville Garden Ranch Road.

23 f. Lot 271 of Oroville-Wyandotte Fruitlands, Unit ,;#6.
Said property shall have frontage on the 01ive Highway.

Each commercial use for which use permit is granted under
2g this Section, shall provide off-street parking as prescribed by
the Planning Commission.

This OrclinaXlce shall be, and it is hereby declared to be in full
27 force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after the date of
28 its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15} days after
its passage, this Ordinance shall be published once with the names
29 of the members of tYxe Board of Supervisors votin}~ for and against
it, in the oroville Mercury , a newspaper published in
30 the County of Sutt~, Stag of Cal~iforn~ ia.
