AN ORDITANCE AMENDING BUTTE COUNTY ORDINANCE N0. 5~7•
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
do ordain as follows:
That Butte County Ordinance No, 5~7 is hereby amended in the following
particulars:
SECTION 2. The follo~,ring regulations shall apply in an "R-1" (Resi-
dential) i3istrict;
2.1 Uses permitted
1}, One family dwellings.
2). Accessory buildings
3). The following uses subject to the securing of a use permit in
each case•
a)o Golf courses and country clubs
b). Public and quasi-public uses including churches,
fare houses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds,
schools, and public utility buildings
c}, Private stables
2.2 Building site area required:
1}. Eight .thousand one hundred twenty-five (8,125) square feet
2.3 i'~inimum building site width required:
1}. Sixty-five (65) feet
2.4 Front yard required:
1). Fifty (50) .feet from the centerline of the County road
2.5 Side yard required:
1). Five feet (5)
2.6 Additional uses permitted fox Lot Nos. 1 and 3 of Reed Park Sub-.
division Unit No. 1.
1}. "C-1" (Light Commercial) uses shall be permittedo
2}. Light commercial uses are retail enterprises that are
conducted primarily inside a building including busi-
ness and professional offices., the retail of dairy pro-
ducts, medical anti dental buildings and_clinacs,
stationeary stores, studios,, and other similar retail
or professional services establishmentso
3). Off-street parking requirements shall. be on a basis
of two (2} Square feeii. of off-street parking area for
each square ,foot of gross floor space.
This ordinance shall be and is hereby declared to be in full force and
effect from and after thirty (30}-days after the date of its passage and be-
fore the expiration of fifteen .(157 days after its passaged This ordinance
shall be published once .with the .names of the members of the Board of Super-
visors voting for and against it in the rh;,.,, ,Sa~cx~ri.~ ,
a newspaper published in the County of Butte= State of California.
