ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 776
(SALARY ORDINANCE)
The BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, do ordain as follows:
1. That Ordinance No. 77b of the County of Butte is
hereby amended as follows:
(a) That there shall be deleted from Section 3 (A)
the following classification;
County Counsel
(b) That there shall be added to Section 3 (B) the
following classification:
County Counsel $1,100 Mo, with any increase or
benefits granted to
District Attorney,-e~-
(c) That Section 17 shall read as follows:

2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after
its passage and shall become operative on the first day of March,
1964, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its
passage, it shall be published at least once with the names of
the Supervisors voting for and against the same in a local
nezaspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, on the 21st day of
