HomeMy WebLinkAbout80-013RESOLUTTON OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WHEREAS, the Butte County Clerk-Recorder's Department desires to undertake a certain project, designated Courts Record Management System, to be funded in part from funds made available through the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, PL 90-351, as amended (thereafter referred to as the Crime Control Act), administered by the Office of Criminai Justice Planning (hereafter referred Co as OCJP). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Che ButCe County Clark-Recorder is authoxized, on its behalf, to submit the attached Appiication for Grant for Law En~orcement Puzposes to OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf o€ Butte County the attached Grant Award ~or 1aw enforcement purposes. BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide all matching funds required for said project under the Crime Control Act and the rules and regulations of OCJP and the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration and thaC cash will be appropriated as required thereby. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED ChaC grant funds received hereunder shall not be used ko supplant law enforcement expenditure controlled by this body.
