sztuation facing bo~h rhe El Medio Fire Protection District
and the paradise Fire Protection District and have determined
that if additional funds are not made available to them, the
fire protection services in these district will be irreparably
damaged and that the heal~h, safety and welfare of the people
residing in these districts will be adversely affected.
NOW, TAERE~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board hereby
grants and distribu~es to the E1 Medio Fire Proteetion District
an amount no~ ro exceed $35,O~Q, and that this Board hereby
grants and distributes to the Paradise Fire Protection District
an amoun~ not tio exceed $242,$43, which funds are determined
to be available County sources as provided in Revenue and
Taxation Code ~98.8 and further trans~ers the funds from the
"Unallocated ~evenue Sharing Appropriation" (page 41, Iine
item 34 of ~he 1979/80 Butte County Budget).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Auditor is.hereby
directed to derermine the amount of cash required to be
transferred to ~he E1 Medio Fire Protection Distr~ct and to
the Paradise Fire Protection District by exam~ning their
respective fund balances maintained in tne County Treasury
as of June 30, 1980 and transferring an a~ount sufficient to
remove any cash deficit including a provzsion for outstanding
warrants. ~he amount to be transferred shall be reduced by
any dzsbursements during Fiscal Year 1979-1980 for Fixed
Assets exceeding $30,000 for the El Medio Fire Protection

BE IT FURTHER RESOLV~D that by adop~ion of this
resolution, Resolution 79-240 heretofore adopted by the
Board of Supervisors is hereby zescinded,
PASSED AND ADOPT~b by the Butte Coun~y Board of
