AS THE MAJOR PROVZDER OF COMi'REHENSIVE SERVICES TO VICTINFS
AND WITNESSES AND SELECTING SAID PROGRAM AS ~E ELIGIBLE
PROGRAM TO RECEZVE SB383 FUNDTNG
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors recognizes the need to
provide comprehensive services within the County of Sutte to victims
and witnesses of crime; and
WHEREAS, funding for such services has been made available
through the passage of State Senate Bi11 No. 383 (Chapter 713 of the
Statutes of I979);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
The ~oard of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
Cali~ornia, pursuant ~o Califarnia Government Code Section 13967(e)
(2) and (3), recognizes the B~tte County Victim/Witness Program as
tne major provider of comprehensive services to victims and witnesses
of crirne, and selects said program as the eligible program to receive
the funding provided by California Government Code Section 13967.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 18eh day of March , 7.980, by the following vote:
