HomeMy WebLinkAbout80-073RESOLUTZON AUTHORTZING APFRAISAL SERVICES (COMMUNI`~Y DEVEZOPNfEN~' PROJECT AREA) WHEREAS, the Board ot' Supervisors of the County of Butte have received a Community Development Block Grant frocu the Uni~ed States Department o#' Housing and Urban Development among ~he purposes of which were to eliminate blight and improve housing conditions for low- and moderate-income families withzn the projec~ area generally known as Chapmantown, and WHEREAS, the Board appr.oved -the.Courity to acquire said property which was consis~ent with ~he goals and objectives of the Block Gxaxlt Program, and WfiE1~EAS, the County now wishes to se11 said property azzd ~ollowing the uniform policies and requirements has made appropriate efforts to identify the best qualified appraisers in a non-discra.minatory maztner, whose services might be utilized in obtaining competent appraisals. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of ~he County of Butte as follows: 1. That the Coun~y shall enter in contract with Joseph Williams for appraisal of property located at 7'~7 Virginia Stree~, Chico, also identified as Butte County Assessor's Parcel number o46-~3-6-0~0-0. 2. Said appraisal to be performed for a fee not to exceed the sum of Seventy-five dollars ($7~.00). 3. That the P].anning Director is authorized to execute said contract for and on behalf of the County.
