AND APPOINTING THE COUNTY FIR~ WARDEN TO BE THE
RESPONSIBL~ D~PARTMENT HEAD
WHEREAS, the County of 8utte is a cooperative fire protection
agency, facilitating better f~re protection an adjacent and con~iguous
lands to those protected by the California Department of Forestry; and
WWEREAS, there is a need for materials and equipment to enhance
this aforement9oned cooperative fire pratection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Fire Warde~ is
hereby appointed and authorized to be the representative of the County of
Bu~te to inspect materials, or equipment, contract for, execute documents
for, and take deiivery for receipt of material5 or equipment.
8E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County fire Warden shall execute
these functions for all equipment transmitted to But~e County by the
California pepartment of Fares~ry, But~e Ranger pistrict and shail rema~n
so aut~orized until the final consumation or execution of ali contracts,
documents or instru~ents required to transmit saSd equipment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this
29th day of April ,~980, by the fo7lowing vote:
