FORMATION COMMISSION REGARDING A;;PROEOSAE; FOR THE ESTAByTSHMENT
OF COUNTY SERVICE AREA NUMBER ']5 (NORTH PARK STREETLIGHTS)
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte intends to
consi.der a proposa]. for the establishment of a County Service Area for street
lights, the boundary of which is hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, no proceedings for the establishment of such service area
sha].1 be instituted by this Board or required by its members until approval of
the Loca~. Agency Formation Cotnmission is first obtained.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RF50LVED AND ORDERED BY THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD
OF SUPERVISORS, as follows:
1. Application and proposal is hereby made tothe Local Agency Formation
Commission in accordance with the Knox-Nesbit Act, beginning with Government Code
Secti.on 54773~ for the establishment of a County Service Area Number 75. The
exterior boundari.es of the proposed service area a~e described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference.
2. Establishment of said serv~ce area is proposed under County Service
Area T~aw (Chapter 2.2, Part 2, Division 2, Tit1e 3 of the Government Code beginning
with Section 25210.1). The type of extended service proposed to be provided is
street lights.
3. The Clerk of the Board is authorized and directed to file a certified
copy of this resolution with the Executive Officer of the $utte County Local.Agency
~'ormation Commission.
Passed and adopted by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on this,29Gh
day of Apri7. ,~980, by ~he following vote:
