BY 7HE BUTTE COUNTY AUDITOR CON7ROLLER
WHEREAS, the Eoard of Supervisors is autharized by Articie 2
(commencing with Section 29740) of Chapter 4 of Division 3 of Title 3 of
the Government Code to adopt by resolution the procedure set forth in
said Article for approval of cla9ms by the Butte County Auditor-ControlZer,
NOW, TH~R~FOR~, BE I7 R~SOLVED BY THE BOARp OF SUPERUISORS that
the Butte County Auditor~Controller shall audi~ and allow or reject claims
in ]ieu of, and with the same effect as, allowance vr rejec~ion by the
Board of Supervisors in any of the fo~l~owing cases:
a. Expenditures which have been authorized by purchase orders
issued by the Purchasing Agent or other officer authorized by
the Board;
b. Expenditures which have been au~horized by con~ract, or-
dinance, resolution, or order of the Board;
c. Expenditures under any statute authorizing payment of
public aid or assistance which have been ordered by the Board;
d. Expenditures for charges incurred by the County pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 3(commen¢ing with Section 29600)
of Division 3 of Title 3 of the Government Code;
e. Refunds of unearned business license fees, permit fees
and similar fees.
PASSED A~D ADOPTED this 29th day of April , 1980, by
the Butte County Board af Supervisors by the following vote::
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Moseiey, Wheeler and Chairman Lemke
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Winston
