BUTTE COUNTY ORDINANCE N0, 801
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE CODE
OF BUTTE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, do ordain as follows:
1. That Chapter 2 of the Code of the County of Butte,
State of California, entitled "Administration~~ is amended by
adding thereto Article I, Section 2-8.1 as follows:
ARTICLE I. COUNTY COUNSEL TO ACT AS
ATTORNEY FOR PUBLIC
ADMINISTRATOR
SECTION 2T8.1
That on or before July 1, 1964, the County Counsel of
the County of Butte shall act as Attorney for the Public
Administrator in all estates in which the Public Administrator
is Executor, Administrator with the'rTill Annexed or the
Administrator, In such matters the County Counsel shall collect
the attorney's fees allowed by law and pay them into the
County Treasury.
2, This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
after its passage and shall become operative on the first day
of March, 1964, and before the expiration of fif teen (15) days
after its passage, it shall be published at least once with
the names of the Supervisors voting for and against the same
in a local newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors on the 21s t
day of January, 1964, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pryde, Steineggex and Chairman McKillop
NOES : None
ABSENT: Supervisor 6illdredg
