RESOLUT~ON REQUEST~NG JURISDICTION OF THE CITY COUNCZL
OF THE CITY OF CH~CO IN C~NNECT24N WITH SACRAM~NTO

The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte r~solves:
The Board of Superva.sors prapos~s to adopt a R~solution a~
Intention, a copy of w'hich is annexed hereto, marked Exhibit A, and by
reference incorporated herein as ~hough fu11y set forth.
That a portion of ~he property proposed to be assessed 1~es
within the incorporated area of the City of Chico.
The area of the Ci~y of Chico which 1.ies within ~.he pro-
posed assessment district will, in th~ opinion of the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, be bene£ited by the i.mprovement refe~red ta
in the proposed Resalutian of Inten~ion, and that the purposes sought
to be accomplished by the work can best be accomp].a.shed by a single,
comprehensive sche~ne af work.
The Resolution of In~tention attached as Exhibi~ A is hereby
adopted as the proposed Resolution of Intentioz~ for the improvements re-
ferred to.
The consent of the C~.ty of Chico, through its City Cauncil,
is hereby requested to the~fannation of the district described in the
Resolution o~ Intention, to the improvement described, and to ~he assump-
tion o~ jurisdiction by this Board of Supervisors for all purposes in
connection with the forma~tion of ~his assessr.lent district, the ~mprove-
ment to be made, and the assessment of property within the boundaries of
the proposed district. The County C].erk is hereby directed ~o transmit

a cer~ified copy o~ this resolution with the proposed Resolution af
Intentian attached, and a c~rti£ied copy vf the map showing the boun-
daries of the district, to the City Clerk of the City af Chico.

and regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State af California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on
the ~3th day af May, 1980.
